From the Pastor’s Desk
Every human being God created craves for power. For example, people want power in order to attain a prominent position; to rule and dominate, to be recognized, to acquire wealth, to live long etc. Unfortunately, not everybody seeks the power from above. Many possess power through satanic means by initiation into accultism. These kind of powers are demonic, limited and short-lived in most cases, the receivers of such evil powers, are pen-slaved, afflicted and put in perpetual bondage. Devil has no good gift to offer you, but God has. James 1:17 says “every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of lights with whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning”. Any gift received from above is good and perfect, durable and permanent. No sorrow is attached to such gifts. Jesus says in Mathew 28:18 that all power is given unto Him in heaven and in earth. No wonder He is called the Omnipotent God. i.e. the “all Powerful God”.
How do you know the power from above? It manifests in good work. Act 10:38 says “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good and healing those that were oppressed”. So apart from being blessed, you are a blessing to others. The bible tells us about the devil going about roaring like a lion, seeking whom to devour. John 10:10 says he has come to steal, kill and destroy. To escape the snares of the Fowler (devil) therefore, you must be a carrier of Holy Ghost power. he tried Jesus but for the Holy Ghost Power in Him, he failed. You need this same power in Christ Jesus to overcome devil’s devices. How do you receive Him, to them gave he power to become sons of God, even to them that believe in His name. After receiving this initial power at birth, you continue to increase in power through the baptism of Holy Ghost.
I am therefore glad to announce to you that in the Redeemed Christian Church of God – Power Sanctuary, we are not ordinary. 1 Cor 4:20 says “the Kingdom of God is not in words, but in power”. Power to live holy, victoriously, peaceably, in love and unity, in dominion, a fruitful life, to possess your possesions etc. It is not limited to adults but youths and children likewise. this power works in us and through us. We are doing greater work than our master did according to John 14:12. Come and taste that power and enjoy His goodness with us.
